There was an upset when higher ranked Gunma CT (13-18) lost on the road to eleventh ranked Niigata A. (5-29) 96-79 on Sunday. Niigata A. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and point guard Yuto Nohmi (181-97) supported him with 14 points and 6 assists. Five Niigata A. players scored in double figures. Even 29 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) by American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-90, college: Miami, FL) did not help to save the game for Gunma CT. The former international guard Aki Chambers (190-90, college: UC Merced) added 20 points and 7 rebounds. Niigata A. maintains eleventh position with 5-29 record. Newly promoted Gunma CT keeps the seventh place with 18 games lost.
