Regular Season Round 36: Kawasaki BT - Hitachi SRT 85-68

B1 League top team - Kawasaki BT (25-7) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat fifth ranked Hitachi SRT (20-14) in Kanagawa 85-68. Kawasaki BT forced 20 Hitachi SRT turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Hitachi SRT's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of American power forward Jordan Heath (208-91, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and the former international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) who added 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Kawasaki BT players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and his fellow American import center Max Hisatake (203-98, college: IlIinois Tech) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kawasaki BT have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 25-7 record. Hitachi SRT at the other side keeps the fifth place with 14 games lost. Kawasaki BT will play against Shinshu BW (#6) in Nagano in the next round where they are favorite. Hitachi SRT will play on the road against Toyama G. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
