Regular Season Round 6: Dewa United - WBS 73-93

Undefeated Dewa United (5-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were rolled over by eighth ranked WBS (3-3) 93-73. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Dewa United. WBS dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Dewa United's 30. It was a good game for American guard DMonta Harris (196-1997, college: Midwestern St.) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import guard Michael Kolawole (195, college: Lamar, agency: Haylett Sports) contributed with 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four WBS players scored in double figures. The former international Jamarr Johnson (198-1988, college: Widener) replied with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and Kevin Poetiray (184-1995) added 14 points and 6 assists in the effort for Dewa United. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. WBS maintains eighth position with 3-3 record. Dewa United at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They share the position with NSH.
