Regular Season Round 6: Hangtuah - Satria Muda 67-85

The game had a very big importance for fifth-ranked Satria Muda as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Satria Muda defeated second-best Hangtuah in Jakarta 85-67. Satria Muda dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Hangtuah's 28 and made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Hangtuah 47-26 including a 38-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Satria Muda looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Arki Wisnu (187-1988) who scored 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard William Tinsley (198-1997, college: Illinois St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Anton Waters (200-1993, college: WKU) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Stevan Neno (180-1996) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Satria Muda have a solid four-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Hangtuah at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost.
