Regular Season Round 32: Shimane SM - Hitachi SRT 109-77

An interesting game for Shimane SM (20-8) which hosted in Shimane one of their biggest challengers Hitachi SRT (19-11). Third ranked Shimane SM had an easy win 109-77. Shimane SM made 18-of-23 charity shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Hitachi SRT turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Hitachi SRT was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Reid Travis (203-95, college: Kentucky, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 39 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Perrin Buford (198-94, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) who added 22 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. American forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and guard Kaito Morizane (186-97) scored 19 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Shimane SM have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 20-8 record having just three points less than leader Ryukyu GK. Hitachi SRT at the other side keeps the fourth place with 11 games lost. Shimane SM will again play against Hitachi SRT (#4) in Tokyo in the next round. Hitachi SRT will have a break next round.
