Regular Season Round 31: Hitachi SRT - Kyoto H. 91-81

Not a big story in a game in Tokyo where 10th ranked Kyoto H. (4-23) was defeated by fifth ranked Hitachi SRT (19-10) 91-81 on Wednesday. Hitachi SRT looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for international point guard Leo Vendrame (183-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points and 5 assists. American forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) helped adding 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Hitachi SRT players scored in double figures. Hitachi SRT's coach Tsutomu Isa used entire bench saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American forward Justin Harper (208-89, college: Richmond) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: SDJ Sports) scored 19 points. Hitachi SRT moved-up to fourth place. Loser Kyoto H. dropped to the eleventh position with 23 games lost. Hitachi SRT will meet higher ranked Shimane SM (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kyoto H. will play against San-en NP (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
