Regular Season Round 31: Zhejiang GB. - Shenzhen L. 90-78

There was no surprise in Hangzhou where 6th ranked Aviators (18-9) were defeated by fourth ranked Golden Bulls (21-6) 90-78 on Monday. Golden Bulls looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for Serbian-American forward Nick Rakocevic (211-97, college: USC) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. The former international point guard Qian Wu (188-94) helped adding 21 points and 6 assists. At the losing side forward Zihan Wu (203-3) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and the former international center Zijie Shen (210-97) scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Golden Bulls and four Aviators players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Golden Bulls moved-up to third place. Aviators at the other side keep the sixth position with nine games lost. Golden Bulls will meet Eagles (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Aviators will play against Ducks (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
