Regular Season Round 8: Pilots - Lioneers 65-91

The game in Taoyuan supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Lioneers (6-5) played at the court of 5th ranked Pilots (3-6). Lioneers smashed Pilots 91-65 on Sunday. Lioneers dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Pilots' 34. They outrebounded Pilots 66-35 including a 24-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: NM State) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 21 rebounds and American forward Branden Dawson? (200-93, college: Michigan St.) who added 17 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Four Lioneers players scored in double figures. Lioneers' coach Greg Lin felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Devin Robinson (203-95, college: Florida) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Ta-You Kuan (181-97) scored 19 points and 4 steals. Lioneers moved-up to second place. Loser Pilots dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. Lioneers will meet Kings (#4) in the next round. Pilots will play again against the league's second-placed Lioneers and hope to secure a win.
