Regular Season Round 32: FE Nagoya - Sendai 89ers 74-69

The game between Top Four teams took place in Nagoya. First ranked host FE Nagoya (26-4) defeated one of their biggest challengers Sendai 89ers (20-12) 74-69. FE Nagoya made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) who scored that evening 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Jeremy Jones (201-96, college: Gonzaga) supported him with 17 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Four FE Nagoya players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) by center Jerome Meyinsse (208-88, college: Virginia) did not help to save the game for Sendai 89ers. Devin Oliver (204-92, college: Dayton) added 10 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Sendai 89ers' coach Hiroki Fujita rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. FE Nagoya have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 26-4 record. Sendai 89ers at the other side dropped to the second place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Kumamoto V.. FE Nagoya will play against Bambitious N. (#7) in Nara in the next round where they are favorite. Sendai 89ers will play at home against Yamagata (#5) and hope to get back on the winning track.
