Very expected game in Nanjing where 18th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (4-22) were defeated by sixth ranked Aviators (18-9) 90-80 on Saturday. Aviators looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Xining He (195-97) who scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Askia Booker (186-93, college: Colorado) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists. Four Aviators players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Zhou Zhao (198-95) who recorded 14 points and 7 rebounds and center Haoran Jiang (205-0) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aviators have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 18-9 record. Jiangsu Dragons lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighteenth place with 22 games lost. Aviators will meet higher ranked Golden Bulls (#3) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Jiangsu Dragons will play against Sturgeons (#17) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
