Regular Season Round 31: Bambitious N. - Saga B. 66-89

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Saga B. (16-13) rolled over 7th ranked Bambitious N. (7-24) in Nara 89-66 on Saturday. Saga B. outrebounded Bambitious N. 45-32 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Bambitious N.'s players. It was an exceptional evening for Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. British forward Myles Hesson (198-90, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 20 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side. Zimbabwean-American swingman Jordache Mavunga (193, college: Indianapolis, agency: Pensack Sports) came up with 25 points and 7 rebounds and American-Nigerian center Chris Otule (211-90, college: Marquette, agency: Octagon Europe) added 8 points and 14 rebounds respectively for Bambitious N. in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Saga B. maintains fourth place with 16-13 record, which they share with Koshigaya A. Bambitious N. lost their eleventh game in a row. They keep the seventh position with 24 games lost. Saga B. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Bambitious N. will play again against Saga B. (#4) and hope to secure a win.
