Regular Season Round 3: Indonesia P. - Hangtuah 58-60

A very close game took place in Jakarta between Hangtuah and Indonesia P.. Hangtuah (3-0) got a very close victory on the road over Indonesia P. (1-2). Hangtuah managed to escape with a 2-point win 60-58 on Thursday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Strangely Indonesia P. outrebounded Hangtuah 42-30 including 27 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Fisyaiful Amir (183-95) who led the winners and scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Sevly Rondonuwu (173-96) accounted for 19 points and 4 steals for the winning side. Ali Alhadar (193-0) came up with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Mario Davidson (183-2) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Indonesia P. in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Hangtuah will meet at home Tangerang (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Indonesia P. will play against Dewa United (#1) and hope to win that game.
