Very predictable result in Shanghai where second ranked Sharks (20-4) outscored 18th ranked Jiangsu Dragons (4-20) 107-74 on Tuesday. Sharks shot 34 for 49 from the free-throw line, while Jiangsu Dragons only scored eighteen points from the stripe. Sharks forced 21 Jiangsu Dragons turnovers and outrebounded them 47-29 including 35 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 20 passes made by Jiangsu Dragons' players. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Noah Vonleh (208-95, college: Indiana, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international Junwei Ren (202-90) who added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Sharks players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Lutong Li (215-2) responded with 10 points and point guard Hongfei Shi (180-93) scored 10 points and 5 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sharks have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-4 record having just two points less than leader Liaoning FL. Loser Jiangsu Dragons keep the eighteenth place with 20 games lost. Sharks will meet Aviators (#6) in the next round. Jiangsu Dragons will play against Golden Bulls (#4) and hope to secure a win.
