Regular Season Round 2: Bima Perkasa - Dewa United 72-73

A very close game took place in Sakti between Dewa United and Bima Perkasa. Dewa United got a very close victory on the road over Bima Perkasa. Dewa United managed to escape with a 1-point win 73-72 on Monday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. The former international forward Kaleb Gemilang (184-91) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Kevin Poetiray (184-95) chipped in 11 points during the contest. American David Atkinson (200-91, college: Salem) responded with 13 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import Jordan Jacks (193-94, college: KWC) scored 13 points and 9 rebounds. Four Bima Perkasa players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Dewa United will meet Tangerang in the next round. Bima Perkasa will play against Evos Bogor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
