The game between closely ranked teams ended with second ranked Bank of Taiwan's (7-2) victory over one of their biggest challengers Jeoutai (4-5) 74-67 on Sunday. Bank of Taiwan forced 20 Jeoutai turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Ishmael Lane (203-97, college: NSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import swingman Zak Irvin (198-94, college: Michigan) who added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Bank of Taiwan's coach let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American power forward Jalen Robinson (206-93, college: Dalton St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds and center Xiang Wang (202-90) scored 18 points and 6 rebounds. Bank of Taiwan have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-2 record behind leader Taiwan Beer. Loser Jeoutai keeps the third place with five games lost. Bank of Taiwan will meet league's leader Taiwan Beer in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Jeoutai will play against Yulon Luxgen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
