Rather expected game when 6th ranked Leopards (1-8) were defeated by fourth ranked Suns (4-5) 119-115 on Sunday. Suns made 30-of-37 free shots (81.1 percent) during the game. Suns outrebounded Leopards 51-40 including 40 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-88) fired a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 20 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Filipino-Australian guard Jordan Heading (188-96, college: CBU) chipped in a double-double by scoring 32 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. American point guard John Gillon (183-94, college: Syracuse) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists and the other American import Troy Williams (201-94, college: Indiana) added 31 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Suns and four Leopards players scored in double figures. Suns maintains fourth place with 4-5 record. Leopards lost their fifth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. Suns will meet league's second-placed N.Taipei CTBC in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Leopards will play against the league's second-placed N.Taipei CTBC (#2) and hope to win that game.
