PLeague+ top team - Dreamers (6-3) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked Steelers (2-6) in Kaohsiung 89-82. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dreamers made 7 blocks. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Julian Boyd (203-90, college: LIU Brooklyn) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. Center Brandon Gilbeck (213-96, college: W.Illinois) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks. Guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSUM) produced 22 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and swingman Taylor Braun (201-91, college: NDSU) added 12 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Steelers' coach DeMarcus Berry tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Dreamers maintains first place with 6-3 record. Newly promoted Steelers stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Dreamers will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Steelers will play against the league's second-placed Fubon Braves (#2) in Taipei and hope to secure a win.
