Regular Season Round 7: Pilots - Steelers 101-94

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Pilots and 6th ranked Steelers had identical 2-5 record. This time Pilots beat the opponent Kaohsiung 101-94 on Friday night. Pilots looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Devin Robinson (203-95, college: Florida) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import forward Jordan Tolbert (200-92, college: SMU) chipped in 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). American center Keith Benson (211-88, college: Oakland) produced a double-double by scoring 28 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Cheng-Ju Lu (194-86) added 24 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Five Pilots and four Steelers players scored in double figures. Steelers' coach DeMarcus Berry tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Pilots maintains fifth place with 3-5 record. Newly promoted Steelers stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Pilots will meet higher ranked Lioneers (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Steelers will play against the league's second-placed Fubon Braves in Taipei and hope to secure a win.
