Seventh-ranked Aviators (14-7) gave a tough game to first ranked Flying Leopards (19-2) in Yingkou on Tuesday. Flying Leopards managed to secure only two-point victory 92-90. However their fans expected much easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Ailun Guo (189-93) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 assists and American power forward Eric Moreland (208-91, college: Oregon St.) who added 12 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was international Xining He (195-97) with 24 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and American forward Jared Sullinger (206-92, college: Ohio St.) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Five Aviators players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Flying Leopards have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 19-2 record. Aviators at the other side keep the seventh place with seven games lost. They share the position with Guangzhou LL. Flying Leopards are looking forward to face Guandong Tigers (#5) in Dongguan in the next round. Aviators will have a break next round.
