Regular Season Round 6: Steelers - Lioneers 98-97

Important game to mention about was the one when sixth ranked Steelers (2-4) saved a 1-point victory edging second-best Lioneers (5-3) 98-97 on Saturday evening. Steelers players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. The former international power forward Po-Chih Wang (195-96) scored 25 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American swingman Taylor Braun (201-91, college: NDSU) chipped in 12 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists during the contest. Five Steelers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-92, college: NM State) with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 21 rebounds and American Nick Faust (198-93, college: LBSU) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Steelers moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Pilots. Lioneers at the other side still keep top position with three games lost. Steelers will play against higher ranked Dreamers (#3) in Changhua in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Lioneers will play at home against Dreamers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
