Regular Season Round 27: Hitachi SRT - Kawasaki BT 81-63

The game between second ranked Kawasaki BT (20-7) and sixth ranked Hitachi SRT (18-9) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Kawasaki BT was defeated by Hitachi SRT in Tokyo 81-63. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kawasaki BT. Hitachi SRT dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Kawasaki BT's 24. Hitachi SRT forced 23 Kawasaki BT turnovers. It was a great evening for American forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. International point guard Leo Vendrame (183-93) helped adding 22 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American power forward Jordan Heath (208-91, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Satoru Maeta (188-97) scored 15 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hitachi SRT have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. Kawasaki BT at the other side keeps the second position with seven games lost. Hitachi SRT are again looking forward to face league's second-placed Kawasaki BT in Kanagawa in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kawasaki BT will have a break next round.
