Very predictable result when second ranked Fukushima (19-10) smashed at home 7th ranked Bambitious N. (7-22) 102-74 on Saturday. They outrebounded Bambitious N. 37-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. Fukushima looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Bulgarian center Jason Washburn (213-90, college: Utah, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 11 rebounds. Finnish-American power forward Erik Murphy (208-90, college: Florida) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Five Fukushima players scored in double figures. American-Nigerian center Chris Otule (211-90, college: Marquette, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Zimbabwean-American swingman Jordache Mavunga (193, college: Indianapolis, agency: Pensack Sports) added 4 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Fukushima have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 19-10 record having four points less than leader Kagawa FA, which they share with Sendai 89ers. Bambitious N. lost ninth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 22 games lost. Fukushima will again meet at home Bambitious N. (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Bambitious N. will have a break next round.
