Regular Season Round 10: Hoops - Sagesse 56-63

Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Beirut: Sagesse (#3) and Hoops (#6). Hoops were defeated at home 56-63 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hoops. International point guard Ali Mezher (182-94) scored 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and the former international power forward Jad Bitar (204-88) chipped in 13 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side international Habib Abdallah responded with 14 points and Hicham El Helou scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Hoops' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sagesse have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Hoops at the other side keep the sixth position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
