There was a minor upset in Aichi where their close opponent Hitachi Cougars (6-8) were defeated by seventh ranked Toyota BSR (8-7) 72-60 on Tuesday. Toyota BSR made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Toyota BSR made 8 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Saki Iijima (173-92) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 9 rebounds and international swingman Nanako Todo (175-0) who added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest.
