Regular Season Round 26: Kawasaki BT - San-en NP 78-68

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Kawasaki BT (20-6) beat 10th ranked San-en NP (4-22) in Kanagawa 78-68 on Monday. Kawasaki BT dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to San-en NP's 22. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international point guard Yuma Fujii (178-91) supported him with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Kawasaki BT players scored in double figures. Kawasaki BT's coach Kenji Sato used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists by American forward Robert Carter (206-94, college: Maryland) did not help to save the game for San-en NP. Filipino guard Ferdinand Ravena (189-96) added 18 points and 12 rebounds for the guests. Kawasaki BT have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Chiba Jets. San-en NP lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 22 games lost. They share the position with Kyoto H..
