Regular Season Round 25: Niigata A. - Hitachi SRT 68-88

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Hitachi SRT (16-9) smashed on the road 11th ranked Niigata A. (2-23) 88-68 on Sunday. Hitachi SRT looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners and his fellow American import forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four Hitachi SRT players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Jeff Ayres (206-87, college: Arizona St.) responded with 16 points and 8 rebounds and Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 21 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Hitachi SRT moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Akita NH. Niigata A. lost their twenty second game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 23 games lost. Hitachi SRT will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Niigata A. will play again against Hitachi SRT (#6) and hope to secure a win.
