There was no surprise when 25th ranked Suns (2-4) were defeated by twenty third ranked N.Taipei CTBC (4-3) 95-85 on Saturday. N.Taipei CTBC dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Suns' 30. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American Marlon Johnson (208-94, college: NMHU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and international forward Mohammad Al Bachir (188-98) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Palestinian power forward Sani Sakakini (204-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and American swingman Alonzo Gee (198-87, college: Alabama) scored 15 points and 5 assists. Five N.Taipei CTBC and four Suns players scored in double figures. Suns' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. N.Taipei CTBC moved-up to third place. Loser Suns dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Tainan GH.
