Regular Season Round 24: Aisin AW - Nagasaki 53-102

B3 League top team - Nagasaki (21-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Aisin AW (13-10) in Aichi 102-53. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Aisin AW. Nagasaki forced 24 Aisin AW turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Matt Bonds (196-95, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals and point guard Masaya Karimata (178-88) who added 14 points during the contest. Four Nagasaki players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: CPP) with 12 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import Marcus Dove (206-85, college: OK State) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Nagasaki maintains first position with 21-2 record. Aisin AW at the other side keeps the eighth place with ten games lost. Nagasaki will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Aisin AW will play again at home against the league's leader Nagasaki (#1) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
