Regular Season Round 9: Homentmen - Dynamo 64-81

LBL top team - Dynamo (9-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat ninth ranked Homentmen (1-7) in Beirut 81-64. Dynamo made 23-of-29 charity shots (79.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 22 Homentmen turnovers. Strangely Homentmen outrebounded Dynamo 49-36 including 16 on the offensive glass. The former international point guard Jad Khalil (186-96) nailed 23 points and 7 assists for the winning side and international guard Jimmy Salem (190-95) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds. Dynamo's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Daniel Baghdadian came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 19 rebounds and forward Karim Jadayel (191-92) added 24 points and 4 assists respectively for Homentmen in the defeat. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Dynamo. Newly promoted Dynamo maintains first place with 9-0 record. Homentmen at the other side keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. Dynamo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Homentmen's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beirut to the arena Antranik.
