There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Leopards (1-4) were crushed by sixth ranked GhostHawks (1-3) 114-83 on Sunday. GhostHawks outrebounded Leopards 56-37 including a 43-30 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Costa Rican-Belizean Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) fired a double-double by scoring 24 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his eleven free throws !!!) for the winners. American guard Jordan Chatman (196-93, college: Boston Coll.) chipped in 26 points and 6 rebounds. American-Filipino swingman Caelan Tiongson (196-92, college: Biola, CA, agency: BIG) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds and Serbian forward Aleksandar Mitrovic (203-90) added 13 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) respectively for lost side. Four Leopards players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. GhostHawks left bottom position moving up to fourth place. Loser Leopards dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. GhostHawks will meet league's leader Aquas in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Leopards will play again against GhostHawks (#4) in Tainan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
