Regular Season Round 22: Niroo Zamini - Khouzestan 69-73

Bottom-ranked Niroo Zamini (0-13) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 73-69 loss to seventh ranked Khouzestan (3-6) in Tehran on Sunday evening. They made 26-of-34 free shots (76.5 percent) during the game, while Niroo Zamini only scored eight points from the stripe. Arash Sabeti scored 28 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Mohammad Seyyedi chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Khouzestan players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Pouya Yakhchali (-96) responded with 29 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and Khashayar Ali-Akbari scored 7 points and 7 rebounds. Niroo Zamini's coach M Shokrolahi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Khouzestan moved-up to sixth place. Loser Niroo Zamini still closes the standings with 13 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
