Rather expected game when 5th ranked Steelers (1-4) were edged by third ranked Dreamers (3-2) 106-104 on Saturday. Dreamers outrebounded Steelers 50-35 including a 37-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Center Brandon Gilbeck (213-96, college: W.Illinois) fired a double-double by scoring 12 points and 22 rebounds for the winners. Guard Randall Walko (196-98, college: TCNJ) chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Dreamers' coach Kyle Julius used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSUM) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and swingman Taylor Braun (201-91, college: NDSU) added 22 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Five Dreamers and four Steelers players scored in double figures. Dreamers keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Steelers dropped to the bottom place with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
