Regular Season Round 13: Yamanashi QB - Niigata R. 59-54

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 12th ranked Niigata R.'s (1-14) road loss to eleventh ranked Yamanashi QB (2-9) 54-59 on Saturday. Forward Aimi Wakahara (171-96) nailed a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side and swingman Marii Watanabe (177-97) accounted for 15 points. Point guard Momo Miyasaka (163-94) came up with 19 points and 4 assists and forward Midori Kanazawa (169-96) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Niigata R. in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Yamanashi QB moved-up to tenth place. Loser Niigata R. keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Yamanashi QB will again meet at home Niigata R. (#12) in the next round.
