Regular Season Round 4: Pilots - Kings 109-94

Round 4 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Kings (3-2). They were defeated by sixth ranked Pilots (2-3) 109-94 on Friday night. Pilots dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Kings' 34. They outrebounded Kings 56-44 including 17 on the offensive glass. Pilots looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Devin Robinson (203-95, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 28 points and 18 rebounds and the other American import forward Jordan Tolbert (200-92, college: SMU) who added 14 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international guard Chin-Min Yang (190-84) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 11 rebounds and the former international guard Kai-Yen Lee (182-93) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 8 rebounds, 13 assists and 5 steals. Five Pilots and four Kings players scored in double figures. Kings' coach Ryan Marchand rotated twelve players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Pilots moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Kings still keep top position with two games lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Fubon Braves who have the same record. Kings will play next round against league's leader Fubon Braves trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Taipei - Fubon Braves. Pilots will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
