The most exciting game of round 20 in the Superleague took place in Mashhad. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-ranked Mahram (8-2) to fourth ranked Parsa (6-5) 74-71 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Mahram. Parsa forced 20 Mahram turnovers. Serbian guard Luka Andjusic (197-94, college: California, PA) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points and 5 assists. The former international power forward Saleh Foroutannik (207-94) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Parsa's coach Srdjan Jovanovic used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The former international swingman Saeid Davarpanah (190-87, agency: Interperformances) replied with 25 points and 6 assists and the former international point guard Mahdi Kamrani (181-82, agency: BIG) added 12 points and 5 assists in the effort for Mahram. Four Parsa and five Mahram players scored in double figures. Parsa have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fourth position with 6-5 record, which they share with Kerman. Mahram at the other side keeps the second place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
