We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Kariya where fifth ranked Tochigi Brex (14-7) outleveled 4th placed Sea Horses M. (12-9) 86-62 on Sunday. They outrebounded Sea Horses M. 41-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. Tochigi Brex looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tochigi Brex. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Sea Horses M. lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost. Tochigi Brex will meet at home league's second-placed Shimane SM in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sea Horses M. will play against San-en NP and hope to secure a win.
