Very predictable result when third ranked Nagoya DD (14-7) smashed at home 8th ranked Toyama G. (7-14) 101-75 on Sunday. Nagoya DD looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Toyama G.'s players. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The best player for the winners was power forward Scott Eatherton (206-91, college: Northeastern, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Coty Clarke (201-92, college: Arkansas) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was center Joshua Smith (208-92, college: Georgetown) who recorded 19 points and 8 rebounds and forward Brice Johnson (206-94, college: UNC) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Nagoya DD. They maintain third place with 14-7 record having just two points less than leader Ryukyu GK, which they share with 3 other teams.
