Round 3 most important game was a victory of Leopards over GhostHawks 89-81 on Saturday night. They outrebounded GhostHawks 54-38 including a 40-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Leopards made 7 blocks. It was a good game for American forward Daniel Orton (209-90, college: Kentucky) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 21 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 blocks. Serbian forward Aleksandar Mitrovic (203-90) contributed with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Costa Rican-Belizean Charles Garcia (208-88, college: Seattle) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds and forward Chia-Jung Chang (192-88) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for GhostHawks. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Leopards are looking forward to face N.Taipei CTBC (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. GhostHawks will play again against Leopards in Taoyuan and hope to get finally their first victory.
