Regular Season Round 3: Steelers - Pilots 84-64

Steelers crushed the opponent Taoyuan 84-64 on Saturday night. American players dominated the game. It was an exceptional evening for center Keith Benson (211-88, college: Oakland) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Anthony Tucker (193-89, college: MSUM) accounted for 17 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the winning side. Four Steelers players scored in double figures. Point guard John Gillon (183-94, college: Syracuse) came up with 21 points and 6 rebounds and forward Jordan Tolbert (200-92, college: SMU) added 9 points and 13 rebounds respectively for Pilots in the defeat. Pilots' coach Chih-Lung Cheng rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Steelers will again meet Pilots (#6) in the next round. Pilots will play against Kings and hope to get finally their first victory.
