Regular Season Round 3: Fubon Braves - Kings 102-109

An interesting game for Kings (3-0) which played against Fubon Braves (2-2). Kings managed to get a 7-point victory 109-102. Kings forced 22 Fubon Braves turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a good game for the former international guard Kai-Yen Lee (182-93) who led his team to a victory with 27 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals. American center Thomas Welsh (213-96, college: UCLA) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Kings players scored in double figures. American forward Michael Singletary (198-88, college: Texas Tech) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists and Ukrainian power forward Igor Zaytsev (210-89, agency: BIG) added 26 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Fubon Braves. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kings are looking forward to face Lioneers in Hsinchu in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Fubon Braves will play at home against Lioneers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
