Regular Season Round 22: Kagawa FA - Koshigaya A. 85-83

The most exciting game of round 22 in the B2 League took place in Takamatsu. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers Koshigaya A. (15-8) to first ranked Kagawa FA (16-7) 85-83 on Friday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Koshigaya A.. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Woodbury is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Swingman Makoto Kamata (193-0) replied with 23 points and 7 rebounds and American center Isaac Butts (208-89, college: App State) added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Koshigaya A.Five Kagawa FA and four Koshigaya A. players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Kagawa FA have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-7 record. Koshigaya A. at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
