Regular Season Round 19: Alvark Tokyo - Hitachi SRT 82-58

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tokyo: Alvark Tokyo (#6) and Hitachi SRT (#2). Alvark Tokyo (12-7) crushed visiting Hitachi SRT (14-5) by 24 points 82-58. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Hitachi SRT. Alvark Tokyo looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Hitachi SRT's players. International forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) fired 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Spanish forward Sebastian Saiz (205-94, college: Ole Miss) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 17 rebounds. Five Alvark Tokyo players scored in double figures. American forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points and 13 rebounds and the other American import forward Josh Harrellson (208-89, college: Kentucky) added 9 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Alvark Tokyo moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Hitachi SRT at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. Alvark Tokyo is looking forward to face Ibaraki R. (#10) in Mito in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hitachi SRT will play at home against the league's leader Ryukyu GK (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
