No shocking result in a game in Tokyo where third ranked Hitachi SRT (12-4) smashed 8th ranked Shiga L-Stars (6-10) 102-75 on Sunday. Hitachi SRT looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Shiga L-Stars' players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward James McAdoo (206-93, college: UNC, agency: Slash Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) and international point guard Leo Vendrame (183-93) who added 12 points and 6 assists during the contest. Four Hitachi SRT players scored in double figures. At the losing side British Ovie Soko (201-91, college: Duquesne) responded with 24 points and 9 rebounds and American power forward Sean OMara (208-95, college: Xavier, agency: Inception Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hitachi SRT keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Kawasaki BT and Chiba Jets. Shiga L-Stars lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Yokohama BC. Hitachi SRT will meet at home Niigata A. (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Shiga L-Stars will play against Toyama G. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
