Regular Season Round 16: Nagoya DD - Shimane SM 86-94

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Nagoya. Third ranked Shimane SM faced 4th ranked Nagoya DD. Guests from Shimane (11-5) defeated host Nagoya DD (9-7) 94-86. At the losing side American power forward Scott Eatherton (206-91, college: Northeastern, agency: BeoBasket) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Takumi Saito (172-95) scored 24 points and 4 assists. Four Nagoya DD players scored in double figures. Nagoya DD's coach Shawn Dennis tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Shimane SM moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Nagoya DD keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Shimane SM will meet Ibaraki R. (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nagoya DD will play against Kyoto H. (#11) and hope to secure a win.
