No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Gunma CT (8-8) defeated on the road 11th ranked Kyoto H. (2-14) 94-86 on Sunday. Gunma CT forced 21 Kyoto H. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Trey McKinney-Jones (198-90, college: Miami, FL) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 assists and international guard Aki Chambers (190-90, college: UC Merced) who added 25 points during the contest. Gunma CT's coach Thomas Wisman used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American swingman Michael Craig (196-91, college: Southern Miss) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists and his fellow American import forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: SDJ Sports) scored 22 points. Five Gunma CT and four Kyoto H. players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Gunma CT maintains seventh position with 8-8 record. Kyoto H. lost thirteenth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Niigata A. and Ibaraki R.. Gunma CT will meet at home higher ranked Shinshu BW (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Kyoto H. will play against Nagoya DD (#4) and hope to secure a win.
