Very significant was Kawasaki BT's (#1) 19-point road victory against 4th placed Alvark Tokyo 85-66. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Kawasaki BT players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American power forward Jordan Heath (208-91, college: Canisius, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. The former international power forward Nick Fazekas (211-85, college: Nevada) accounted for 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Kawasaki BT players scored in double figures. Kawasaki BT's coach Kenji Sato allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Spanish forward Sebastian Saiz (205-94, college: Ole Miss) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds and international forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Alvark Tokyo in the defeat. Kawasaki BT (12-4) have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place, which they share with Chiba Jets. Alvark Tokyo at the other side dropped to the second position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Kawasaki BT will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
