Regular Season Round 16: Toyoda - Aisin AW 76-81

No shocking result in a game in Aichi where eighth ranked Aisin AW (9-7) defeated 13th ranked Toyoda (3-15) 81-76 on Saturday. The game was dominated by American players. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: CPP) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Marcus Dove (206-85, college: OK State) who added 4 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side power forward Jalen Billups (200-92, college: NKU, agency: BIG) responded with 31 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Tucker Haymond (198-94, college: W.Michigan) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Aisin AW have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain eighth position with 9-7 record. Toyoda at the other side keeps the thirteenth place with 15 games lost. Aisin AW will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Toyoda's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face again at home their local rival from Aichi Aisin AW.
