Regular Season Round 17: FE Nagoya - Saga B. 90-78

B2 League top team - FE Nagoya (14-3) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat fifth ranked Saga B. (7-10) 90-78. FE Nagoya looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Kaito Ishikawa (188-90) who scored 17 points and 9 assists. American center Brian Qvale (208-88, college: Montana) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four FE Nagoya players scored in double figures. FE Nagoya's coach Taizon Kawabe used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. British forward Myles Hesson (198-90) produced 21 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and Cuban guard Reynaldo Garcia (187-90) added 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. FE Nagoya maintains first place with 14-3 record. Loser Saga B. keeps the fifth position with ten games lost. FE Nagoya will meet league's leader Kagawa FA in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Saga B. will play against the league's second-placed Koshigaya A. (#2) and hope to secure a win.
