The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Sagesse (3-1) in Beirut on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by Dynamo (5-0) 81-78. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sagesse. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Dynamo made 10 blocks. The former international power forward Mohamad Haidar (203-90, college: Michigan Tech) stepped up and scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and guard Jimmy Salem (190-95) chipped in 23 points and 4 blocks. Christophe Khalil responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and international point guard Ali Mezher (182-94) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 assists. Four Dynamo and five Sagesse players scored in double figures. Dynamo have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Newly promoted Dynamo maintains first place with 5-0 record. Sagesse at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. They share it with Beirut Club and Champville.
