Regular Season Round 11: Tokyo HT - Chiba 91-86

Chiba (9-1) recorded its first loss on the court of seventh ranked Tokyo HT on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Tokyo HT 91-86. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Tokyo HT looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) who scored 18 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward John Fields (205-88, college: Tennessee) chipped in 5 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four Tokyo HT players scored in double figures. Tokyo HT's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Evan Ravenel (204-89, college: Ohio St.) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and forward Kevin Kotzur (203-89, college: St.Mary's, TX) added 11 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Tokyo HT have a solid series of three victories in a row. Despite that victory Tokyo HT went down to eighth position due to points difference. Newly promoted Chiba keeps the third place with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
